115 carriers participated in the 2016 PBO Audit. 42 were High Performers, 70 were Average Performers and 3 were designated as Poor Performers. Performance measures included timely payment of initial TIBs, timely submission of initial payment data through EDI, timely processing of initial medical bills, timely processing of requests for reconsideration, and timely submission of medical bill processing data through EDI.
